I am really excited as I have two stalls coming up - I am a busy bee as off to NZ on 10th so lots of work to do before then!! tee hee!

I am holding a stall at the Hare and Hounds as part of a clothes and cake night (sounds good to me!!) on Tuesday 1st Dec. There will be quite a few stalls there so should be a nice mix of xmas gifts and so on...

I am also holding a stall at the bulls head, Moseley on 6th December. It is going to be upstairs and is a special Christmas gift party! knit knit knitting!!

I am pretty hooked on knitting at the moment and I am really really excited as I order lots of wool from 'Texere Yarns' website last night - they had a really good slection at very reasonable prices - well worth a look! I will let you know what the quality/ delivery is like.
I got lots of fluffy funny wool as I hope to make some really cute scarfs and mittons.
I am holding a stall at the Hare and Hounds, Kings Heath, Birmingham on 2nd Dec so thinking they would be nice as xmas pressies maybe...

I am very excited about Saturday as I am off shopping to choose some new winter fabrics to make some more dresses out of. I am really into purple and navy at the moment so I am going to be keeping my eyes peeled...

the birth of betty who?

Thought I should write a little bit of background about where betty who? comes from and what I do…

I started a sewing course last year and literally I knew nothing! I didn’t even know how to thread the machine. Anyway as the course went on I realised that it made me very happy making dresses, especially when other people kept asking me where I had bought them from! Being able to say that I made it myself really was a pretty good feeling! Because other people seemed to like them I thought I would start making a few more and see if anyone was into them at local markets within the West Midlands. I know how cool it is to own something that no one else has so I make all the dresses different so no one will be wearing the same dress as you anywhere in the world!

Anyway that's where betty who? comes from!
